Tobi: Very good, Kakashi. I see that you’ve retained you analytical nature even after all these years.

Gai: (Looks at Kakashi) Do … do you two know each other? Was there a rival before me?! (Eyes water up)

The Gedo Mazo roars again, dispersing the flame barrier surrounding it. Its shape is starting to shift.

Naruto, Bee, Kakashi, and Gai: (Puzzled look)

Tobi: (Frame of him is dark; his eyes cannot be seen) Alright then, Naruto Uzumaki. Come die just like your pathetic mother and father did! (Raises hand) Shinra Tensei!

Kakashi and Gai are sent flying backwards but Bee catches them and loses his balance as well, tumbling. Meanwhile, Naruto stands looking defiantly.

Kakashi: I thought he couldn’t use the Rinnegan abilities? He must be going all out
now!

Naruto: (Eyes narrow; put’s hands into seal) No one, and I mean no one, talks about my parents!
